Just sitting here in the sunshine (beside the pool) pinching myself. We’ve actually made it to a France, a little later than planned but what the heck!
Had a great trip down to the SW taking our time in “Parsley” checking areas and making notes as we travelled. The scenery en route reminded us of one of the reasons we love France 🇫🇷

After a couple of night stops we made it down to the Dordogne/ Lot-et-Garonne area and soon settled into our rented gite courtesy of a very hospitable friend!
Mind you I always thought the grooms quarters (strappers for the Aussies) were above the stables?!

It’s just perfect being out in the French countryside and once again we have the company of horses and cats.

We’re doing as recommended and “self isolating” which is easy to do when your transport is your own little home on wheels.
Next update when we hope to be out and about property viewing in a week or so’s time.
Oh Sue and Chris. That just looks a dream!!!!!! I know you will love it! Take good care.
