As the days and weeks drift into each other it’s hard to believe we’ve been on this side of the world for 10 weeks now!

In some ways it feels like forever as we have completely settled into our new way of life “social distancing “ and filling the days.

Spring and everything that brings is upon us, a week of glorious warm sunshine and then some wild, wet days to follow. But I had forgotten how great it is to experience true seasons, just check out how the blossom is progressing in the orchard!

Last week the local farmers released the cattle into the fields (another English term😊) after what had been a long wet winter. These girls across the road looked pretty content.

Can’t help but look at those distant hedges and wish I was back onboard a good eventer!

So life goes on pretty well undisturbed in the English countryside as we bide our time.
