As we said farewell to East Gippsland the shroud of smoke was lifting and fires were being contained. Where to next?
In a timeless and leisurely fashion we ticked off a few of those places we’d always planned to visit – Walhalla Goldfields, the Thompson Dam and onwards through the epicurean centre of Kyneton to Ballarat.
Stopping over at Victoria Park we enjoyed catching up with “old” friends watching and competing at the weekend Hickstead event. There have to be horses!!!
